MAJOR LABELS // BLKN CLOTHING x BRIAN LICHTENBERG

BRIAN LICHTENBERG x BLKN CLOTHING x RADICAL BLACK LINE. There's something about New York's district Chelsea that I really enjoy. The energy surrounding it is always addicting, and the views and scenery even more so. I spent one of my last days in the city before traveling back to Amsterdam in my friends studio in the heart of Chelsea. Sadly, due to uncharged batteries it involved to an impromptu photoshoot using a polaroid camera... but hey, I'm a firm believer of everything happening for a reason.

Which happened to turn out for the best. The brands I'm wearing are based around the  effortless chic sensibility that the city is known for. I'm wearing a new collection called BLKN Clothing. They're a new street-style-esque brand that can easily be worn, and perfect for any outing around the city. Their clever abstract designs and in your face slogans made it obvious to pair it with one of my favorite Brian Lichtenberg beanies 'Trippy & Company'. His brand has been worn by A-List celebrities, top models, and fashion icons around the world. Best known for his creative and genius interpretations of the worlds top fashion brand logos. One of his famous being, 'Homies' printed beanies, sweats, and sweatshirts, printed in the font and style of Hermes.

New York City's weather has been great this Fall. Crisp air, blue skies, even hitting some temperatures up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm almost sad to go back to rainy Amsterdam. JK!

Seeing how the weather has been so good, lots of layers haven't really been as necessary as it was last year. You can see below some tips on how you can master layering this fall! This basically allowed me to pair together my All Saints Parka, some Weekday jeans, a baseball cap, and a grey textured sweatshirt from Topman.

Not to mention this yeah I decided to team up with my friends over at Daniel Wellington for an exclusive collaboration for the upcoming Holiday Season. I'm wearing the Classic Sheffield 40mm watch in Silver. Make sure to check out their website and get yours today.

Recently I moved downtown to the heart of China Town and East Soho. Once you get used to the unique smells (took me only 4 months) and the fast paced crowds of tourists, you start to appreciate the not so normal things you see daily. Whether it's the park filled with cheerful Chinese cultures singing karaoke, the scalpers trying to sell me fake rolexes, or the many fish markets that cause you to hold your breath as you walk by - China Town has found a special place in my heart. I managed to take advantage of todays 60 degree weather and my long time friend Mitch, was there to capture the look effortlessly. You can check out his site HERE.

Usually I'm a pro believer on the whole timeless and effortless black on black on black look, but this fall I'll be challenging myself to play around with more monotone color schemes and textures. The jacket was an effortless way to take a basic sweater and jean look to the next level. Adding accessories like grey beanie, Daniel Wellington watch, and my signature Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack gave the look a cleaner yet casual simple feel perfect for a day like today.

Naughty Santa Sweatshirt // Clashist.com *THROWBACK*

8 days until christmas. Holy shit. 2014 is almost to an end. It's sad to think it doesn't feel like Christmas yet, but what's a better way to get in the mood than a Christmas sweater? Recently, LA based digital printing apparel company 'Clashlist', sent me one of their limited edition pieces called the 'Naughty Santa Sweatshirt'. This sweatshirt blends the aesthetics of today's pop culture with pictures of Santa like you've never seen him before: Smoking weed, drinking beer, making out with Mrs.Clause, even having an affair with an elf. It's hilarious and you'll be sure to get tons of funny looks while wearing it. Who knew being naughty could look this good?

This sweater has even been seen on Miley Cyrus's crazy ass so make sure you get your hands on this limited edition piece just in time to give your grandparents a heart attack at Christmas dinner. The line is carried at Kitson, Nylon, Nasty Gal, Karmaloop, ModCloth, and Myrtle. Or simply click HERE to get yours now. $120 USD.

CATCH ME DRIFTY // Photography by Mitch Zachary

So here's a shoot I fashion directed and styled a little while back called 'Catch Me Drifty'. Shot by my good friend Mitch Zachary (Click for his website) model: Daan Bos. We went for a 70's vibe based upon last falls 70's trend and patterns off the runway. Daan is wearing Salvatore Ferragamo, Marc Jacobs, and DKNY. Check out the full set below!
